Undergraduate Summer Studentship

Please read all instructions carefully. This application is for both faculty and students interested in applying for funding to support summer research employment in the areas of health, wellness, and community-based research (broadly speaking).

This application is part of the application package for the Saskatchewan Indigenous Mentorship Network Summer Studentship. You are also required to submit:

Section 1 - Primary applicant: this can be either a faculty member or a student, if you are a faculty member and have a student in mind for this position, please list them as the secondary applicant. If you are a student and have a faculty member you are working with, you can list them as the secondary applicant. If you would like to be matched with a mentee or mentor, please indicate under 'secondary applicant'

Section 2 - Secondary applicant:

Option 2: You need to identify a student/faculty member to work with. Please indicate this via the drop down menu and the coordinator will connect with you to facilitate this.

Section 3 - Project Description: to be filled out by supervisor

Please fill this out in paragraph form so the committee has information on the proposed project and how you will work to incorporate mentorship throughout the summer studentship.

Please note a new investigator is a faculty member within the first 6 years of their first academic appointment.
Post-secondary institution where you are enrolled (student) or employed (faculty).

Please include documentation verifying the above by emailing it to sk.imnp@usask.ca. Your application will not be considered complete until documentation has been provided.
