SkyTrail

The SkyTrail was a railway bridge constructed in the area by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1912 until 1987 when the last train crossed it, due to structural conditions the bridge was abandoned, until 2003 when the 33rd Field Engineer Squadron along with a grant from the CME Bridges for Canada National program repurposed the bridge into a Pedestrian Bridge as part of the Trans Canada Trail. The Bridge is roughly 1.2 kilometres long and 47.5 meters above the South Saskatchewan River, the Bridge is located 88 kilometres upstream from Saskatoon.

Re-purposed traffic Bridge

The old Traffic Bridge in Outlook Saskatchewan was decommissioned due to a freight hauler damaging the top supports on the bridge, a new concrete and steel bridge was installed to the south of this bridge that does not have any structural supports above the road surface. After the repurposing of the Train Bridge to the SkyTrail, this bridge was also repurposed into a pedestrian bridge, this bridge is currently open to the public.
